Heavy Metal is an ongoing series compiled of historic buildings, train yards, and shipping channels used in Milwaukee since the industrial era. As a result, pollutants have contaminated soil and waterways for nearly two centuries.
Each image was captured on 35mm and 120mm film. Furthermore, the chemical process of developing film was utilized to emphasize the impact heavy metals (i.e. mercury, lead, cadmium, etc..) continue to have on our environment and in our community.
